Stamp Fail

While going back and forth with the designer and various printers for the invitation and envelope, we thought that we would personalize the invitation a bit more by getting custom stamps created.  So we got ready and had a little photo shoot and created our postage stamps and done...they were ordered and on their way.

Two days later, we saw the Royal Wedding stamps that were coming out!  Ugh! Again, for the record, we thought of it first!  LOL! 

But what does it matter, cause you'll notice they were't even on the invitation.  We were emailing Canada Post EVERY OTHER DAY for almost a MONTH!! Where the hell were our stamps!?  We couldn't wait and these invitations have to go out asap!  We even hunted down the mail carrier to see where in the world these stamps are!!  So...we couldn't wait any longer.  We kept seeing those stupid Royal Wedding stamps and were so mad that we didn't have ours.  So out went the invitations without them. 

But HOLD ON...what comes in the mail two days after I've sent out all the invitations?  Of course!  Our stamps!  What the #%*@!!!!  Anyway, I'm sure you'll see them on a thank you card in the coming months.  Here's the photo we used for it.
